To members of the Online Community Managers EN group on Linkedin to allow best practice sharing and networking, is generated every 2 months an (offline) CMNL meeting was organized. Members get here at least 2 or 3 weeks before an official invitation.

Because there are many questions about Community Management and the short time regularly to discuss everything thoroughly, every gathering around a particular theme set. These themes are members of the group itself suggested.

Each meeting will be hosted again by another member. The location of each meeting is therefore always different.
The host gives a short presentation about the community where he / she is responsible and ensures the further organization and decoration (eg food and drink) in the evening.

After the presentation is over one hour in small groups to discuss sub-themes. These sub-themes, like the general themes by members of the group itself CMNL suggested. At the end of the evening, the summaries and conclusions from this 'discussion' shared with the rest of the group. Best practices are then possible even outside the group shared in blogs, white papers or CMNL wiki.
