Community Manager Hello!

Maybe you work with communities for years or you have just begun. Maybe you are the single point or you work in a team. Maybe you will work independently of an organization behind the community, no organization or the community involved. Maybe it's just your job to the organization as much as possible in the discussions in the community. What your situation is, it probably happens often that you wonder: what is the best next step?

Sometimes it's a person too much attention to itself or someone who just irritation spreads into the community. Then how do you handle it? Sometimes there are periods when members are less active in the community or fewer visits. How do you make sure that members come back and actively participate? It is also possible that your role within the community and / or the organization is still unclear, for you but also for colleagues. What position do you and where you put your focus?

In a new position as Community Manager you run regularly issues and situations that you can not easily discuss with colleagues or others. Result, you have little or no ready-made answers to your questions because no one will (still) has.
You work a lot of intuition and seeks new initiatives based on pilots and small projects. Results give you insight into what may or may not 'work' for the community. By working this way you will develop step by step the role of Community Manager and give it shape.

Communitymanagers.nl was established to you as a Community Manager for these issues to help. Since Community Managers from different communities to write about their experiences and visions / ideas about community management, I hope you geïnspireert touch and thereby confidently the next step towards a professional interpretation of your position as Community Manager takes. One step that is necessary because only one functioning Community Manager to develop a functioning community and there are many benefit!
